The Michael Johnson Foundation (MJF) is hosting its 2nd annual Car Show, March 26, 2016 10:00am-3:00pm at Gas Monkey Live located at 10261 Technology Blvd E. Dallas, Texas 75220. Proceeds from the event will benefit the 501c(3) non-profit organization Michael Johnson Foundation helping raise funds for Animal Assisted Therapy for pediatric inpatients.

Former NFL athlete and Super Bowl champion Michael Johnson, along with his wife Erin Johnson, own a therapy dog and are launching a program through their charity named after the 4 year old French bulldog, Kobi. Kobi’s Company has a mission to support children benefiting from animal assisted therapy and provide educational hand held devices, toys, and entertainment.

Last year, MJF hosted the event at Gas Monkey Bar and Grill (GMBG) where over 140 vehicles registered in the show raising nearly $3,000, benefiting deserving children through MJF initiatives in 2015. Michael Johnson and his NFL friends were special guests along with Fast and Loud TV personality Richard Rawlings who graced the event with an appearance. He showed his support for the event by taking a classic photo with Michael Johnson in front of his 1975 Cadillac Coupe Deville. Cars spilled over the parking lot at GMBG, forcing the event to be moved to Gas Monkey Live where they are capable of hosting over 500 motor vehicles.
